Very cool.
It makes me wonder in what direction New Haven will take as well. I know they are on 800mhz conventional. I will be in west haven 1 in the next 2 weeks to visit.
Make sure you pick up an apizza from Zuppardi's on Union Street to snack on while you are waiting to buff the area

Always! if not there, I go to Cappetta's on Orange ave. No pizza in the country compares to New Haven style pizza.
But i digress. I don't want to get this thread locked. lol.

It will take about 2 years(Confirmed with FD )
That would be nice if it's true, I just started streaming West Haven FD on Broadcastify with a XPR4550 and have had a lot of positive feed back on the audio

Intresting thought indeed. New Haven is all over the place. They have PD on 400, FD on 800, school security on 100, traffic/parking on 37 mhz. low band. Perfect city for a trunked system or a move to CLMRN.

I do. I care. And so do a lot of firefighters and their families, friends and relatives. It’s why scanners are commonly related to as a “Police and Fire” receiver!
