West Jordan Utah PD help.

I like to listen to West Jordan PD in Utah. I get West Jordans dispatch just fine. Sometimes the officers say switch to channel 2 witch I have programed as well. A month or two ago it stopped working. Does anyone know if they changed the the channel? please help!

That’s what I have programmed. I have 2 scanners and they both do not pick up channel 2 one was programmed using sentinel the other one radio reference

What make & model scanner are you using?

When you say "Channel 2" do you mean WJordan PD 2 Police 2 Car/Car ?

If so, how do you know for certain that your scanners are not picking it up? Could it be that there just isnt any traffic?

WJPD CH2 is TG: 22496

I have 22496 programs in. I can see the group Id in my scanner. When the police say go to channel 2 I switch it but don’t hear them talking

Regarding the SDS100 you'll need to turn on the Law Talk & Law Tac service types to hear the talkgroups specified in post #2

If traffic on the system is light, you might try enabling a wild card TG or use ID Search (rather than ID Scan) and see where they pop up.

Thanks everyone sounds like the channel hasn’t changed. I must have change some thing in my scanner. I’ll try and look into it.

I only think this is needed if you are scanning. It sounds like the OP is switching to the channel.

@kenzie what site are you monitoring? I listen to site 3 mostly and can confirm the TG is active there. If you are listening to a different site, it’s possible the TG is not being carried there.

Yes I can hear the dispatch and other PD channels.

I would think Nelson (Site 11) would have CH 2. I will try and listen to it to see. Are you able to listen to site 3 (SLCo Simo).

@kenzie After about 24 hours, I have not copied CH2 (TG: 22496) on Site 11 (Nelson).

I would suggest monitoring Site 3 (SLCo Simo) as it carries that channel.
