Right I found those, but they don't specify what service they are for. Not being in W. Liberty myself, I don't know what they have for local services. I assume a town police and fire dept. Or do they use the Muscatine Co. services? Just trying to pin down the exact in use freqs for the public safety services. At a minimum, guess they could be plugged in to see what they are. Thanks....

I read on the ScanIowa Yahoo!Group that in 1999, West Liberty PD was dispatched on the county sheriff repeater 158.730 (127.3). 155.820 (127.3) was their public works and PD car-car channel. In 2002, they started using NEXTEL for PD car-car communications. I don’t know if this information is still correct as I’ve never been to West Liberty myself.

Here is some more info I found through internet searching. If you confirm any of these, please add them to the database.

Yes, most of the 30,000+ population cities have digital systems now, including the Iowa DOT as well. the ISP(Iowa State Patrol) uses conventional thought. 158.730 which is Muscatine Co. Sheriff is used frequently sometimes.
