I am familiar With programming scanners but never trunking. I have bought a trx-1 and trying to understand the different tower sites. If I’m wanting to monitor highway patrol in weakly co, along with local police on the system, does it matter which tower i program in. If I put in UT Martin site , will it monitor Obion county law tg for example ? Or do i have to put in multiple towers sites into the scanner?

Yes as for now THP D8 and Obion County traffic is carried on UTM.
Benton Ky area is a haul for UTM Site.

Benton is not my current location. So if I only put in utm, I’ll hear all of Obion traffic on their talk groups ?
