The general idea is to list the following:
- The County you reside in (If you would like to add your town you may)
- The Counties/Systems you frequently monitor
- Anything you may wish for members to know, such as if you provide a live feed for a certain county

I think this is a great way to find other members on RadioReference that monitor the same things you do.



I live in Charleston (Kanawha County)
I monitor all of Kanawha County, WVSIRN and surrounding areas, as well as Charleston Metro, and WVSP regularly.
I provide this feed Kanawha County Sheriff, Fire, EMS and Municipal Cities, WV State Police

Main system is Kanawha, with Putnam, Lincoln, Jackson and Boone. Sometimes I can get Fayette and Raleigh Counties.

I've been an avid scanner/ham radio hobbyist for many years and I'm currently employed by Nicholas Co as a 911 dispatcher (any of you who monitor Nicholas Co may occasionally hear my voice lol)

and Belmont County Ohio. WVSP activity on low band and WVIRN. Home Patrol and RS Pro 107 do the work.

Use an analog BC340CRS to monitor Clarksburg PD (when simulcasted), Taylor, Preston and Lewis Sheriff's Departments and occasionally Harrison County VFD.

Would love to upgrade to a digital scanner soon to be able to monitor all the digital systems in my area.

Glenn here; I live in Vienna, Wood County.

I monitor most of Wood County police/fire/EMS, WVSP on SIRN, and Belpre, Ohio police/fire. I also monitor AEP crews and FirstEnergy crews from time to time.

I got back into monitoring after being out of it for several years. A PRO-197 and a PRO-106 are my current radios. Hope to get back into shortwave at some point, too. A ham got me interested in radio when I was a kid, and that interest has never left me.

Elkins. I monitor the Elkins tower but can also pick up the N. Harman, Buckhannon, and Barbour towers. I don't monitor them as I have found I'm already picking up everything I have heard on those towers on the Elkins tower.

I am in Jefferson County, Listen to Jefferson, Loudoun, Fairfax counties. I want to learn about these new scanners and trunking systems and maybe get one to put the town I work in on here. I am open to all suggestions and any info that could help me understand which scanner to get. Last scanner I had was a Realistic from RS back in the 90s. (sorry if this is a double post, I dont see the one I made yesterday)

Name is Dave, I'm in Mercer County right between Princeton and Bluefield.

We Monitor WVSIRN, Turnpike, Mercer County, Tazwell County, Summers County, ..etc. and some of Virginia VSARS, State Police... also FRS, MURS, some aviation and various stuff.

We have a Uniden Homepatrol-1 with a magnetic mobile antenna on our balcony. We can see several towers from our place - no idea what they are all for! lol
