Been over a year since I was here.....no traffic anymore on their listed RR frequency of 154.74, as well as the listed fire, etc.

Are they on Nevada Shared now or new system? Encrypted? DMR?

I think I answered my own question with Close Call - Appears encrypted! All these secrets in West Wendover!!!!

People shouldn't be surprised honestly. Most equipment and consoles now come standard with a form of it as we are getting.

West Wendover PD has been P25 encrypted for a few years now.

I believe you can still hear fire traffic in the clear and you can hear the Wendover, UT PD on the UCA Wendover Peak site dispatched off of Tooele Law 1 talkgroup.

You are correct. West Wendover, NV is a no go though.......
