Anyone down in Cape May County know who is dispatching assignments for West Wildwood? Are there Department still in service at all or have one of the Neighboring Island departments now have taken jurisdiction of police services?

Department still exists and was still in service as of a couple months ago. Someone else will have to answer who's dispatching them though...
The department is going to be disbanded with North Wildwood PD contracted to take over law enforcement duties.
North Wildwood uses NJIS.
So assignments for the West Wildwood officers still employed by the Borough are now dispatched by county on North Wildwood talk group and NO longer dispatched by Wildwood City on Wildwood City talk group??
There are supposedly still a few officers who actively still work for the Borough and operate West Wildwood vehicle..

Not sure if or when this switch will occur. Residents have been trying to stop this transition to no avail as far as I know. The NJ Chiefs of Police, in a report to the borough, recommended the department be disbanded. Borough officials seem to be headed that way in order to save money.
We shall see as I am sure both sides of the issue will be presenting their arguments over the next few months.
