I found a frequency that is transmitting P25 encrypted with aes on 453.5375mhz with a NAC of EE9. With an fcc search it maybe used by west springfield fire but their primary frequency is on 800mhz so I have no idea what it is used for. It seems they are also using cqpsk modulation like a simulcast system so it maybe harder to decode for some systems

Thanks for the heads up, Hadn't scanned the new channels in a bit.
They got the licensing set at the end of March. Sounds like the process of changing over now, patched currently. The FD & PD dispatch channels appear to be simulcast from Agawam (Ch 22 tower), Springfield (Tower Square high rise) and West Springfield (water tower SW of Holyoke Mall on town line) all on callsign WRDU533.

West Springfield PD Dispatch - 460.4125 $E91 AES encryption (linked to 853.7875)
West Springfield FD Dispatch - 460.1125 $FD1 (linked to 851.4750)

I am guessing the channel you caught is PD F2 and is only licensed at the West Springfield location. The FD may also have a F2, 453.4750 and it is also only at the West Springfield site

So is West Springfield going to have full time encryption on their main channel?

Licensed for the purposes of testing so far. At some point I think they might get a license as a secondary user or with the concurrence of the State of CT.
