Westmont Police on DuPage Sheriff Dispatch

Was just tuning in on the DuPage Sheriff Main Dispatch (TGID 2619) with Westmont PD (Whiskey) apparently transmitting and getting attached on calls by ACDC within the channel. ACDC Police-1 (TGID 2601), used by Westmont has been silent for the past couple of hours. Assuming it’s possibly out of service and maybe no longer in use correct me if im wrong.

Updating on this; It’s appearing now that TGID 2601 is simulcasting TGID 2619 for a little bit before it went silent again.

Hopefully this is a last update but Westmont is back on TGID 2601. Likely some configuration issue popped up and got fixed.

Whew! I already know that ACDC and DU-COMM police entities are going encrypted probably in less than a year, that's a given. Glad everything is back to status quo.

I'm a 69-year old life-long resident of Westmont and not looking forward to when it occurs.

I thought this was the end despite with all the stuff they had problems on but that’s not the case given.
