WESTMINSTER - A two-car accident partially shut down a major intersection and left one man dead Thursday morning.

Westminster Police say that a 16-year-old driving a Chevrolet Tahoe was involved in an accident with 42-year-old David Sueper of Brighton, who was driving a Chrysler.

The accident happened Thursday morning at the intersection of 120th and Pecos.

Police say the Tahoe was heading east on 120th when it hit Sueper's car.

Both Sueper and the 16-year-old were taken to Saint Anthony Central Hospital where Sueper was pronounced dead.

The 16-year-old's name and condition are not being released.

Northbound and southbound Pecos were closed in that area and eastbound and westbound 120th was down to one lane of traffic.

Police are looking for witnesses to the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call 303-430-2400 ext. 5.
