This one was weird. I was scanning the Military Air bands and was receiving some agency in the 300 MHz area. I would like to know if any of this sounds familiar so I can figure out what frequency they were actually using and just why I was picking it up on 300 MHz. (Could it be from the scanner's IF?)

The transmissions mentioned Weehawkin (as in so-and-so to Weehawkin) and they used "Signal 19" and "Signal 7." The nature of the conversations sounded like something about water (as in a municipal water department).

The frequency was 393.3000 MHz. My scanner is a BC250D, with an outdoor discone antenna.

Sound familiar? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

Correct. I'm trying to figure out what the Input Frequency is, and then to check that with the IF (image frequency), out of curiosity.

Anybody know how to compute it on the BC250D?
