This one was weird. I was scanning the Military Air bands and was receiving some agency in the 300 MHz area. I would like to know if any of this sounds familiar so I can figure out what frequency they were actually using and just why I was picking it up on 300 MHz. (Could it be from the scanner's IF?)
The transmissions mentioned Weehawkin (as in so-and-so to Weehawkin) and they used "Signal 19" and "Signal 7." The nature of the conversations sounded like something about water (as in a municipal water department).
The frequency was 393.3000 MHz. My scanner is a BC250D, with an outdoor discone antenna.
Sound familiar? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?
