With the HUGE range of frequencies available with the several types of dongle SDR's now on the market, nearly ANY single antenna is a compromise. So, what antenna(s) are you using with your dongle SDR (with or without upconverters)?

I use a Par End-fedz, a 2 meter / 440 J-Pole, and a Diamond discone (with the coil loaded vertical whip on top).
Par Electronics End-Fed Dipole Wire Antennas
Arrow Antenna OSJ146/440 Antenna
Diamond D3000N, D-3000N Discone Antenna

How 'bout you?

Par End-fedz and the Radio Shack 20-176 outdoor vhf/UHF (in my attic). I haven't grounded the Par yet and interested if reception will improve. The Par is currently used on a 45' fiberglass wind sock pole that I extend off my deck. Works awesome with my Terratec dongle...and the Commradio CR-1.
