What are the best DPS Freqs to monitor along I-20

I will be traveling from El Paso to Dallas-Ft Worth area on Interstate 20 (I-20). What are the recommended DPS frequencies to monitor along this route. Also, are these freqs digital or analog? Another other info would be helpful.

As far as I know, everything is digital from El Paso to Abilene.
Digital is on 155.4675/154.6875, 155.4525/154.7025, 159.2175/154.6725
and analog is 155.46/154.68, 155.445/154.695, 159.21/154.665 but there may be some
exceptions. Those freqs should cover everything except for a few non-standard
frequencies in west TX which are here in the RRDB

Also, you'll want to listen to the Van Horn repeater (159.15 MHz) and the NE Pecos one (158.8275 MHz). Both of those are digital. Pecos dispatch is on 155.4525, Midland is on 155.4675. There is a 159.2175 repeater outside of Big Spring. You can sometimes hear the 155.8875 repeater near Snyder (dispatched by Abilene). Finally, Abilene is on 155.4525. All of those above freqs are digital, by they way.

It also depends where you are on I-20
159.2100 is the TLE/THP Traffic repeater in many out lying areas. but the PL varries.
Sulpher Springs use 107.2 as does Tyler. Tyler also runs 28/29 info on 155.4600 so it is almost essential you have a specific location to get the BEST answer.

Don't overlook the fact that while the DPS units may check in & out with their regional dispatch, in many cases they will more often be heard on the sheriff's dept. dispatch frequencies of the county or counties they are patrolling.
