Hello im super new to all of this and i want to learn how to listen in on some yards in halifax. I know the timetable for the intermodal train leaving halifax to truo threw windsor junction. Just loooking for the codes so i can get more times on other yards and stuff.

Not sure what sort of radio or scanner you're using but if it's got a service search or a preprogrammed Rail list, I'd enable it and see what you hear.

I believe C0MET possibley is referring to the frequencies for the yards.

What scanner/radio are you listening to the railroads with? As Mike stated, use the railroad search mode. Or, set up a search scan.
