Are they on the old system, the P-25, or VHF/UHF repeaters? Looking for something else to monitor.

This frequency can sometimes be interesting at night. It sounds like some GCPD officers (maybe supervisors?) use it as an informal talk-around channel in the evening. They usually go by names, not unit numbers.

Those are the ones running around with modded 2m radios in their vehicles. Heard a lot of chatter when that idiot was holed up off of Suwanee Dam Rd last year. Must of thought they couldn't be heard.<grin>
They have about 4 or 5 different channels they use. I thought that the GTA was on the old trunked system. Oh well.

Could you pass on those other 4 or 5 channels? I just stumbled upon this one while looking for something else to monitor since Walton County went encrypted. I don't mean to hijack this thread away from GTA frequencies but would sure like to know.

Thanks, Joe
