What are these freqs. that were programmed onto my used Pro-

Hi,
Im just wondering what the freqs. are that were programmed onto my used Pro-43 that I just got. They are all 800MHz and up. One of them is 886.500. What are these freqs?

Presumably frequencies that the previous owner listened to. You can reset the scanner to remove all the current frequencies. Go to the Radio Shack web site and look up the owners manual for the Pro 43 if you don't have it. It will tell you how to reset the scanner.

Yea I dont want to erase them. Im just overwriting them with my own freqs.

Im just curious to know what these freqs. could be?

It sounds like phone conversations. I was listening to what sounded like business execs. talking about making some kind of a deal

Could they be cell phones?

The 800MHz cellular base station outputs are in the 869-894MHz range.
