What are you monitoring this July 4th?

We're biking over to Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ tomorrow. Taking the scanner to listen to the Hudson River/New York Bay traffic during the Parade of Ships

The Blue Angels will also be flying over around 10:00AM. Now I wish I had a HH scanner with MilAir. Might be able to hear some traffic on VHF Air, if not the Blue Angels themselves.

Probably monitor NYPD Citywide with the fireworks and other festivities going on in the City

Happy 4th all! The "sophisticated" monitoring post at Liberty Park this morning. The marine band was hopping - numerous reports of disabled vessels needing a tow, etc.

All of the regional interop channels both conventional and on NJICS for the activity in NYC harbor. Harbor cams on YouTube also stream Marine audio so it’s pretty busy.

Just a Radio Shack PRO-79 that has seen better days.

The only monitoring I did over the 3-day weekend was running Pro96Com on our statewide system (netted around 60 new radios and a single new talkgroup) and setting various alerts in our CAD system in case something cool happened.... Nothing did
