yup
I know that public safety units have operated at 70 Mhz 80 Mhz 100 Mhz 420 Mhz etc in Europe. Is there a move underway to place all public safety radio users in the 380 Mhz band? Peter S

There are a lot of trunked (mpt) systems in the 200 MHz range here in Southern Spain. I also here some things in the 300 MHz range. I have scanned the 70/80 and VHF high bands off and on for the last two years and haven't heard anything.

A lot of countries here in Europe, but most of them are moving to a APCO 25 look-a-like in the 380 Mhz band. More information about this can be Googled with keywords Tetra, Tetrapol, C2000, Airwave.
