What can I monitor in SA w/Pro-95?

Hey all,

I will be traveling to McKinney for a friend's wedding in late June and then
to San Antonio to visit family.

I was wondering since SA is using a EDACS ProVoice Digital system,
what can I monitor with my Pro-95 and the possible frequencies?

I just emailed my Aunt and Uncle asking them what county in SA they are in,
to help me look for frequencies.

Anyone have the Texas Highway Patrol frequencies also?

Don't know about San Antonio, but the Texas DPS freqs are here:

just look under the Bexar county link in the database, there is alot of small towns on vhf and DPS, army and air force bases and a bunch of other stuff so check it out.

Alot of the smaller suburb communities such as Hollywood park and many others are still using VHF and or UHF for comms.
All on the database under Bexar county. You can also still monitor the SA Park Police on the system if ESK is not running.

Does that same page refer to the ESK system?

You can monitor anything on that page that has an " A " under mode. "A" designates analog transmissions.

This is of course as was stated if ESK is turned off.
