Amos, RTD has a South Parker Road route right next to our meeting location.

For me, its not so much the day of the week, but whether or not I happen to be working the scheduled date.

True enough Erik. For some reason, we seem to attract all sorts of attention from elsewhere. I'm just glad we have a strong group *who are actually located here* that participate.

It's a great idea to have a meeting on a weekday evening or other time that would allow some of our other folks with work/family committments to participate. According to Luke, any time other than Friday evening will probably work for this.

i was a little upset that i missed this one i was really looking forward to going, well i bought a boat and decided to take the family camping the weekend of the meet and missed it. i really wanted to come to it. i am going to make sure i make it to the next one no matter what happens. just out of curiousty why are the meets so far apart? i hope to meet you all the next scanner meet.

Why not two meets each quarter?

One on Sundays "as usual," and a weekday evening for those that can't make the Sunday meet?

I was almost thinking doing something once a month... Still have the Big Quartly Meeting, just add small metro meeting. I think it would help the noobs! =) Like Friday or Saturday night...

I really like the monthly type schedule idea.

But it hits me again that Thu to Sun nights are tied up with work (6p straight through to 6a).

And is the possibility of having too many meetings scheduled a potential "issue" ?

i think that would be pretty cool once a month or mabey even once every 2 months but mabey we can get more input from the other people that attend the meetings and see what they feel about this and then like you said still have the big ones.
