What do all the buttons do?????!!!!!

I have in my hands a nice little motorola astro spectra. Plug it in to find its still pre programmed with my area's EMS and Police frequencies.

All i want to do is listen in... but... what does all these freakin knobs and buttons do?! I mean obviously volume is... volume, and power, but everything else? How do i use the thing??

i definitely don't want to accidentally transmit something...

The buttons are program-able. You will have to read the radio to find out.
