I'm not sure what you are saying, but you have a great receiver in the AR8200. I have one along with a large selection of scanners. The AR8200 has the audio of any unit I have heard. I use mine to listen to mailair and my local sheriff's department that is still on VHF. I do use it on HF from the porch, but I have many HF radios with good antennas that I do not use the AR8200 from the radio shack. I have both ScanCat Gold and a software program that I downloaded for free to program the AR8200. Modern receivers and scanners are just too complicated for me to try to do it by handl.
