I've got a BCD396XT and I've been listing to my local police for about a year now... I've got a list made of each code and what it means but I can't figure out what M.S.D means.... They say it after they complete a call. Here's an example of how they use it

-officer: " officer 303 I'll be 10-8 and I need my number and times for M.S.D."

-dispatch: Your number is 5502 and your times are 15:16 and 16:05

Does anyone know what M.S.D stands for?

I think OCA means "Originating Case Agency"

You should be asking the question in the appropriate state forum (or if you are listening to a Canadian system, we have 2 forums for that). This appears to be a regional abbreviation for a department of some kind, and it could mean many things to many folks. Only people in your neck of the woods have the right answer. Please be mindful of posting things in the right forums - it only delays getting you an accurate answer.

It would also be helpful if folks knew where you are (county/state will do). Go to the User CP the link for which is found under the thread title in the blue toolbar. There is a link there for Edit Your Details; scroll down about 2/3 of the way to a box for your location. 73 (best regards) Mike
