1600 Channels Typical / 2500 Maximum.

On the BC246T, I understand dynamic memory allocation, but what's the difference between typical and maximum?

Thanks,

Mike

My understanding is, the maximum channels would be reachable only if you're not storing any data along with the frequencies. If you start grouping stuff into systems, adding text tags, etc. then you start reaching that "typical" level vs. the maximum. It's still a LOT to play with, and there will be even more space on the new 396T. It'll be possible to have the entire state of MD programmed all at once with that guy, and have room for travelling freqs.
