What Frequencies or TG's did you hear for the INAUG.

I wanna know what frequencies or talkgroups you captured for the Presidential Inaug.

As far as TGs not in the database

DC MPD UHF system
34000/34003 -Last night and today, traffic and pedestrian control. Patched to 159.15.
33680 -More traffic control
32944 -unknown
28848 -unknown
27184 -uknown
24656 -unknown
22800 -unknown
20400 -unknown
16384 -Unit 1031

34000 was the most active of these. I always have a weak signal so I didn't spend too much time following the system. I listened to milair instead.


I also searched the DOD UHF system
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=180
and came up with TG 8864, references to aid stations.
I also had a hit on 40112.

On the other federal UHF system
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=3611

TGs 432, 448, 448, 58444, and radio IDs of 703005 and 700120.
Everything was encrypted.

In the DB but interesting:
Fairfax County was using their Coordination 1 channel TG 21200 patched to the Park Police.

Take a look at the 'Inauguration milair' topic in this forum, and the Scan-DC archives. A great deal of info there from today. And if you don't belong to Scan-DC, and are interested in the area; well, you should. No doubt more will be coming out in the days ahead, after everyone gets their notes together. I can say that both the Capitol and USPark Police had their hands full. I had their frequencies in on another radio while doing some aero/milair work.

And was responsible for many files for folks to use to program their radios...

You couldn't hear them even if you wanted to; they use a combination of P25, encryption and scrambling. You can read about their systems in the last 2 issues of the Capitol Hill Monitors newsletter, in PDF format, available here:

There was even a report of a P25 encrypted 400 Mhz portable trunk being used during a Florida visit by the President in a recent MT.
The short answer is....forget about it!
