Good day all,
My first post on RR !
I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Bearcom in Bloomfield ?
I drove by the office the other day, and the building was empty, and there was no alternate address on the window. Are they shut down permanently ??

Thanks

Mike

From what I understand, yes. The head tech was injured back in Novemember or December of last year. He was supposed to work out of his truck when he was better, but he moved to Tennesee. I have not heard from him since.

They are gone. No more low balling equipment then doing bad work and charging more to put it in.

They are still in business in Texas and CA (I believe). Tri-Cal is using them for the Wildflower Triathlon. We usually have to reprogram the radio's and repeaters though...

Call the company headquarters in TX and ask whats going on.
prcguy

I did call the main HQ, and the lady I spoke with said there was no Bloomfield location in thier computers at all. When I told her what happened, she was just about as clueless as I was. So, oh well, looks like they are gone forever (at least in Connecticut).
Thanks for the update guys !
