Hello,
Some years ago I bought my mom a Radio Shack PRO-528 when the Lawton Police Department (Comanche County, OK) switched to 800 MHZ radios. She likes to listen to emergency personnel, specifically the LPD. I followed the instructions to enter all the frequencies for trunking (which I'm not familiar with btw) and I figured out what ID's went to certain radio channels. It worked fine for a few years until about a years or so ago. My mom can only hear some transmissions for Lawton PD's main radio frequency and not all of them. I know this to be true by comparing the scans to an actual radio. I've reset the scanner and re-entered the frequencies to only arrive at the same problem. Has something happened to allow her only to hear some transmissions and not all of them? Is this model obsolete? Has it been affected by this "rebanding" I've read about here? Thanks for your help.
