What is a good way to scan Myrtle Beach Fire Department?

Hello Everyone,

I will be in Myrtle Beach for a few weeks next month and I was wondering what the best way to scan Myrtle Beach Fire Department is? I do have a P-25 scanner. Is Myrtle Beach FD on a lot and could someone please tell me a little bet about that department. I would very much appreciate the help.

They are a career fire/ems service.

They use the HC trunking system...

just follow what the data base tells you about their dispatch tg.

fairly busy I think.

when they get on scene they may switch to a fg tg.

Myrtle Beach FD is not digital & operate on the Horry County TRS. They provide firefighting and EMS coverage is provided by Horry County (Medic 62 & 63). I would plug in the Horry County Fire Rescue talk groups while you are visiting. Here is the Wiki fir the county & MBFD.
