What is a Hex Color Code. Why does this appear in keypad programming but not in EZ Scan programming for DMR?

Also why do the Color Codes in the keypad programming have the letters RGB after them? I though that DMR color codes did not have anything to do with actual colors.

I think you might be looking in the wrong places.
If you look at a talk group in EZScan you'll see LED colors. click on that and you'll see the hex codes.
The colors for this are used in the alert light on the scanner. When the TG gets active the light are turned on in the color and blink pattern that you set, both in EZScan and in the scanners own setting. It has nothing to do with the color code for the transmission.
