what is the best software recommendation for a gre-400??

I would use Win97 if I was you.

I use Win97. It's been around the longest and it's the most trusted because Mr. Starr is an avid member of this site and is pretty easy to contact for technical questions and comments etc.

I run Win97 and like it but I can't say it's the best, I load files up and down from the Pro-2055/Pro97's to the GRE400/GRE300's all the time and I have some Big MilAir files , I wanted to try one of the other's but just didn't have the time now that I'm working with Win500.
I'd say pick one and stay with it. we have some great people on RR that can help you with all 3, but I learned a lot about Win97 form the Search files and made a lot of notes.
