I was there Sat late-Tue morning, made a SW airline trip to a high school friend (and fellow R.N.) of mine's retirement party on Sunday. No time to turn on the scanner or power up the Kenwood TH-F6A. We talked, cried, shopped, walked . . . . . girl stuff. She just started volunteering for the USFWS monitoring vegetation, she is an amateur botanist. I told her to keep her eyes out for radio info, but don't know if she will get anything, although it would be nice. The USFS, BLM and USFWS are all in the same office complex in Vegas so who knows.
