Sorry, no one can monitor PSP as they are on OPEN SKY. Go to the RR data base for Adams County PA for Gettysburg Frequencies.

The RR data base is correct and up to date.

Fire

46.180 Fire 1 Dispatch for fire/ambulance/medics
46.200 Fire 2 (very seldom used)
46.260 Fire 3
46.320 Fire 4
46.300 Fire 5 Fire Police

Fire units dispatched check in on F1 and are then are assigned a working channel.
Ambulance and medic units check in on F1 and then switch to Med 9 as their operations channel.

There are two Med 9 repeaters in the county.
462.950 PL 186.2 Used by eastern county units.
462.950 PL 162.2 Used by Gettysburg and western county units

Hospital communications:
Med 1 PL 186.2 Ambulance-Hanover Hospital
Med 5 PL 162.2 Ambulance-Gettysburg Hospital

Inter County Mutual Aid
154.280 CSQ used to communicate with surrounding counties

The list of UHF repeaters listed for the Gettysburg Fire Department are units
mounted on various pieces of equipment and cross band repeat from UHF to
the low band fire channel they were assigned. These are normally used when
units are on the scene and are active during calls.

-----
Police Stuff

As noted above, State Police are still using their open sky system. They do maintain their former VHF-H
system as a back up. Normally limited to comm checks at shift change. Some speed traps etc are still
operating here along with DOT details.. (PL 186.2)

155.580 Base
154.950 Mobile
154.755 Mobile-Mobile
155.460 Tac-1
151.490 Tac-2
-----
County Police (PL 186.2)

45.100 F1 Used by sheriff and western area county units
45.500 F2 Used by Eastern county units
45.540 F3 Used by Gettysburg Boro and Cumberland Twp units

The Boro PD listed UHF channels are for car mounted UHf-VHF low car repeaters and are active

In addition: 45.380 (186.2) Gettysburg PD Tac (Misc chit-chat)

---

Med Choppers - Main players Life Lion (Hershey Med Center) 155.355 (146.2)
Life Net 81 (Hagerstown, Md airport) 159.705 (D503)
Stat 13 (York Airport) 159.480 (103.5)

These choppers are dispatched on their company frequency and switch to our local scene
assigned channel for air-ground comm.

These units also fly into and out of Gettysburg Hospital on a regular basis for critical care
patients.
---
National Park Service 164.725 NAC 585. This is the only digital channel in the county. Everything else is FMN analog.
Everything at the park, rangers, maintenance, visitor center and others use this single repeater....
---
All units, both police and fire are dispatched by county.
---
Hope that helps... Have a good trip

repeaters on RR

Are the repeater frequency's listed on RR updated and are they used? I just thought that i may be able to hear them a little better because i will be staying in Maryland.

Thanks

Hi John: Everything in the RRDB is correct and in operation. The repeaters listed for
both the fire and police are low power mobile units and only provide local coverage.
The police mobile repeaters are active during normal operations when officers are
on foot away from their cars. The fire repeaters are only used when units are on a call.
