The Shipley Building is the headquarters of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, located on the Hilltop on the grounds of the old Central Ohio Psychiatric Hospital (of which very little remains except a few small outbuildings). It's right next to its' twin, the ODOT headquarters building. You can see both as you zoom past on I-70.

Its the home to Ohio BMV, Ohio EMA, and others generally under the ODPS. Used to have to go here about 1-2 times a month for meetings at the Ohio Governors Office for Traffic Safety, which goes under a shorter name now (maybe Ohio Traffic Safety Office, or something like that). They have their own building security guards, and at first glance look like state troopers. Same uniform, different patch and badge. Their radio ID's are (*I think*) in the 5xxx series. Somebody here might be able to correct or affirm that.
