What is this noise on 462.93750 MHz?

Comes up at least 2 or 3 times a minute. No voice traffic.

Actually it is the frequency from department store. I was able to hear voice as well as that noise when near the store. The store's HTs don't seem to produce that noise. Interesting.

It's likely intermod. Paging transmitters TX at ridiculous power levels and produce a lot of intermod in scanners.

I would guarantee that is the culprit (with an output of 350W and a max ERP of 1400W on a ~200 foot tower) .

Yup sure enough there is a same noise on 462.925 every few seconds; actually it is coming around 20 seconds out of 60 sometimes.
