i am one of the others using a new old stock channel master monitenna found on ebay.allthough you could call it the scantennas dad as it is very similar.i attached a link below it is the second one.

Need more choices for voting. I use two antennas and a diplexer as listed below.

My signature really says it all... my scanning Consists of a groundplane type Antenna, a 800mhz Yagi. 2M ham is covered with a J pole with ground plane elements.
Scanning antenna
Depends what you want as discussed many times over in this forum. For me its the Radioshack Mag Mount and an AT-256. This combo gets me all the VHF/UHF and 800-900 systems I monitor. OBTW I have tried the 20-176, and the other 73 dollar discone from RS. My current combo is a "get ir dun" setup.

I am using a Par Electronics MON-3 VHF/UHF/800 MHZ omnidirectional antenna on my tower. It works great, and holds up well in high winds.
