Ok, what kind of reports would everyone like to see from the TRSDB/RRDB?

The Motorola sysid report is on my list, how about any others?

Hello,

I can think of several. Some more generally helpful than others.

A P25 Sysid report like the Motorola Sysid report.

Being able to select a system type and generate a listing of the system names and locations. For me it would be nice to be able to find where the 9600 baud P25 systems are so I can jump in the car... 8->. Actually it would be handy if I am going to Dayton for the Hamvention or on that life defining cross-country road trip (sometime in the future) to be able to quickly see where there are any Passport LTR or 9600 baud P25 systems. Although based on my last trip to Washington, DC I seem to find new systems to add to the database.

BTW, Thanks for the updates. I think the pdfs are a great idea. When I went to Ontario in 2003 I printed out some system info since I did not always have internet access. I had problems with formating. HTML is designed for web pages and not printing.

This was just done today... you can access using the Report Function at the bottom of the RR Database Page.

Now, why do we have a blantonl2? :p :p :? :?: All I can figure is that someone in Lindsay's family wanted a s/n or someone wants to be like him. I really don't care, but just curious.

Talk about alter ego.

I do like the P25 system listing. I compared it with my own list and made corrections. So far so good.

Maybe a little off topic, but how about the ability to export reports into Excel?

Or the ability to filter the report by information wanted and then exported into an .pdf file?

Make it alot easier to manipulate data for larger trunked systems like StarNet, or multiple trunking systems.

Just food for thought. :D

lindsay... the split maps on the database are a very nice addition... it is nice to see exactly where everything is relative to the larger area scanned (easier than trying hold a state road map in one hand and type with the other)---it is especially nice when assembling scanning lists for areas i don't visit often....

How about extending the pdf's to the non-trunked systems? Makes a better-looking printout.

would it be possible to indicate on each state page the availabilty of ten codes/signals--either as a separate link or some kind of icon next to the county name?

thanx

Ok, I know it has been a while since the original request for reports, but:

P16 report that includes all non-P25 Motorola systems with "Digital" or "APCO-25" in the "System Voice" field.
