I'm wondering what other hospitals around the US use for their med radio!
We just moved from analog to digital (p25) on our med channels. We used to have a base analog radio for comms with incoming units but now they've taken the analog radio out and they've given us a Motorola APX4000. Has anyone else ever heard of hospitals using portable radios for this? The other other difference I can tell between the two is that the audio quality is LEAPS AND BOUNDS from analog and the radio beeps when you press the talk button. The analog radio did not. Pretty nice unit though!
