• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Polter will appreciate this but this is his thread for a long long long long time, probably one of the oldest active threads.

The variety of music on this thread is a Treasure trove.

A lot of it comes from polter himself.

I don't have the ability to download YouTube videos to this site. I remember polter was able to put a video of Astrud Gilberto singing Girl from Ipanema with Stan Getz at my request.

Polter, can you find the original, the seven Souls by William S Burroughs. There were many different adaptations but I'm looking for the original one. Somebody here is going to enjoy that and I have a feeling you already know it.

It's real Egyptian history of a man's soul.

I can not begin to tell you how many time we saw Frank and the Mothers at the RPI Field House in upstate NY.

Always preferred his earlier stuff (Apostrophe to Them or Us) - Watermellon in Easter Hay was a huge favorite.

I'm listening to Let's Move to Cleavland by Frank Zappa. Any Zappa fans around??
