Ok, Learning to Program my BCD396XT,

I know I can Program ever thing from A to Z. and I would need help for that. LOL

I'm Looking to be able to listen to Police and Fire in and Around Carroll County, GA.

I see the HEX Number and only Found 3 for Carrollton PD, Sheriff, and Carrollton Fire.

I also see ID: 440h, 7DBh, and others that I have not found what they are.

Guess what I'm looking for is if anyone from or around Carroll County that has a BCD396XT FreeSCAN Save From there Scanner and would not mind passing it on.

Thanks, any help would help.

They are slowly migrating from analog VHF over to the WARRS. Pretty much it's a new system and you will just have to be patience and keep an ear on the traffic so you can identify it. If you have a second scanner available, I would program in all the conventional in it and let it run along side the WARRS so you can find out if they are simulcasting.

Carroll County

I have a 996XT and I used Freescan to program my scanner with Site 1 & 2 from RadioReference. I hear very little traffic from the Carrollton PD, but hear EMS all the time. I went and put in all the conventional frequencies known for Carrollton PD and still here very little. I don't hear car to car, or car to dispatch, or the usuall running of license plates etc... Every now and then I will hear dispatch. I hear alot coming from the Carroll County FD, but thats it. Am I missing something here?
