So to take off from a thread on another board, what kind of radios do you use, and for what?

For example, I'll start.

I'm a ham, and I will usually have at least one of the following:
* Cellphone - Moto Atrix
* Moto XTS 5k M3 VHF
* Moto HT1250 or HT1000 R-split UHF

At work I carry my personal radios which depends on which I grab from the charger:

Motorola XTS2500 UHF P25/FPP
Motorola CP185 UHF
Kenwood TK372 UHF

In my personal truck I used:

Motorola A5 Spectra VHF (Remote)
Kenwood TK830 UHF (Remote)

I also, sometimes, carry:

Bendix King EPH-5101M VHF
Kenwood TK272 VHF

I have lots of others that just sit in chargers.

I use a 99ch UHF MT1000 (rehoused in an HT600 case) brick on a daily basis. My co-workers think it's a Zach Morris cellphone but I like it better than the 4ch CP200's and beat up 16ch GP300's my employer owns.

Is this a motorola thread, lol?!?

:lol:

At home:
-- Hf+6m: Yaesu FT-950
-- 2m/70cm: Yaesu FT-7800
-- GMRS: Kenwood TK-880

In the truck:
-- Hf+6m: Yaesu FT-857D
-- 2m/70cm: Yaesu FT-8800
-- GMRS: Vertex Standard VX-3200
-- CB: Galaxy 979

HTs, depending on what I'm doing at the time may be:
-- Yaesu VX-8R
-- Yaesu VX-150
-- Wouxun KG-UVD1P
-- Kenwood TK-3101

or...here it is...
-- Motorola HT1000 - VHF for amateur 2m or UHF for GMRS/amateur 70cm :D
