What scanner works best on the ICAWIN system in and around Boise/Treasure Valley?

I was curious to see what scanners you all use for the ICAWIN system and scanning around Boise.
I have the SDS100 and a Uniden BC 125AT. I have used both in that area when I visit. I was hoping for feedback to see who uses what? What radio seems to work best?

Uniden SDS-100/SDS-200, Uniden 436/536, Uniden 325P2, 996P2 and Whistler TRX-1/2.

It helps to have the DMR/NXDN upgrades for the Uniden scanners. Nothing is going to help with the encryption.

the Hoosier state, baby.
Looks like you’ve pretty much got your bases covered with both of your scanners. Like devicelab above me said, neither will help with big-E. If the Boise/Treasure Valley area has desireable DMR or NXDN systems you want to listen to, you can always purchase the upgrades.

yep I'm aware of "E" I just was wanting to see what scanners people used and what seemed to work best on the ICAWIN system for that area.
What DMR/NXDM systems are worth upgrading for? who/what would run on those?

What systems other than Idaho power run on DMR/NXDN ? I don't see anything in the database for Ada county?

Since you are specifically asking about the ICAWIN system in Boise and the Treasure Valley, the only thing that will work better than the SDS-100 you already have is a Unication G4 or G5.

It's not technically a scanner and has some limitations when used as one (search the forum for details), but I've been very happy with mine that I bought specifically for monitoring ICAWIN on the Ada County Simulcast site.

Thanks. I'm aware of Unication pager radios. I know they work better on some systems than others. I just prefer at this time the features of Uniden scanners Vs those of unication radios.

Okay Potato. You asked, repeatedly and in a challenging manner, for people to prove to you there were systems in Boise using DMR, apparently unable to use a basic function of this site to locate it for yourself.

When provided with a direct link TO THE INFORMATION, you spazzed out over my signature line.

I'm done with this crap and I will no longer read your drivel. Good luck in your endeavors.
