Well looking at that system, you'll need a digital radio, Pro-106, Pro-197, BCD396XT or BCD996XT would be good choices. Now if your referring to the OpenSky 9600 baud system, there is no radio that can receive that system.

The new system will be P25 Phase 2 TDMA, so you will need a PSR-800 to listen to it

The new Pa. 700 system works fine here in Pittsburgh. I've been Listening to it all week on all my XT's,GRE 800, and PSR 500. No problems.

The PA system you reference is a P25 phase 1 sysyem which will work on those scanners. It's not exactly new...been on the air for a few years at this point. It was just entered into the DB recently.

The new Bucks County system will be a P25 Phase 2 system. Currently, you can only listen to these with a PSR-800. This system is not yet online.

As Ben states, what was listed as the "Bucks County" system in the database was actually the Commonwealth's 700 MHz P25 system used for aircraft operations. The system that was listed as "Bucks County" has been removed from the database. When the county actually starts to build out their P25 system to replace the Motorola system, an accurate entry will be created in the database.

Does radio shack sell a scanner that will cover the phase 2 system or just the psr800 will work. What about the home patrol 1

The GRE PSR-800 is the only scanner currently available (if you can find one) that will track/decode P25 Phase II TDMA systems.

If you intend to listen to a P25 Phase II system, nothing except the GRE PSR-800 will work.
