If downloading frequencies is one of your main goals you need some software to match your scanner if it's available.- http://www.radioreference.com/wiki/index.php/Radio_Control_Software and a cable. Then you can become a donatiing member of this site for loading the database info to some of the available software. What scanner(s) are you wanting to download frequencies to?
