what to expect to hear on a MARCS data channel?

What would one expect to hear on a MARCS data channel.

Is it a continuous transmission, or intermittent.

Im not talking the control channel. I know thats a buzzsaw like noise.

What kind of noise comes up on a MARCS data channel?

I found the data channel frequencies on Tom Swishers site.

Also, are there separate i-call frequencies, or do those go out on the regular MARCS site frequencies?

Data channels would just be digital buzzing, nothing to listen to, nothing that you could decode.

I-Calls go out over the regular voice channels.
