What tower am I hearing? MPSCS (P25) on an SDS200 scanner

I’m in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, monitoring Michigan Public Service Communication System P25.

I’ve had scanners for years including Radio Shack and Unidens. I have a new SDS200. When a particular conversation starts, how do I know what tower I’m hearing the broadcast from?

Using the Detailed Display Mode, see what SITE ID # shows up on the display and compare it with the Database.

In detail display mode you can see the active site info, its numerical or you can change it to display the name on the display edit page.

Below are the MPSCS sites in Marquette County. The frequencies in red are primary control sites and the blue are alternate. Normally the red ones should be active.
