Great; but I saw nothing for VX-7R. I sold the radio anyway.

But if that works, I dunno. No such menu exists on the VX-7R I'm aware of. But glad there are options; I heard WIRES beeps on repeaters, although as often I've heard ANI from chicoms.

Yes, the "INT A/M" menu indicated on the webpage does not exist in the VX-7R AFAIK, which is menu #31 in the VX-6R. However I think you can do the same thing in a VX-7R using "TSQ/DCS/DTMF" menu item #7 [DTMF DIALER], which gives you the option of disabling (set to OFF) the DTMF Autodialer. Another option may be to use "TSQ/DCS/DTMF" menu #8 [DTMF SET] and make one of the memory locations a null tone.
