Talk about organized confusion. We had a driver here DUI initially causing a 3 car MVA along with some propert damage. Driver speeds off causing at least 4 more MVA's. The 3 or 4 city officers chase the guy and get him stopped in the high school parking lot. Meanwhile the Sheriff's deputy in town radios dispatch asking her to ask the local PD if they need any help with traffic control accident scenes etc.. PD responds back to dispatch yes.

Is it just this city & county (Atchison) that are apparently unable to communicate with each other directly or is it standard throughout the state?
