With the T-band mandate looming closer, does anyone know what will happen to the 470.3625 MHz IFERN Simulcast provided by DU-COMM? Will it move to a StarCom21 Talkgroup? A different frequency?

From what I’ve heard, there’s no plan to “modernize” the patch. If or when T-Band is eliminated, so will the patch

The Will County P25 IFERN patch doesn’t nearly have the range DU-COMM’s patch has but it’s better then nothing

Hope was dashed when for a very short period the ISPERN UHF patch was up on the old 476.4125 frequency. I haven't heard anything since after something with the repeater failed to pass audio even though it was able to detect activity on 155.4750.

UPDATE: The mandate has been repealed, so it looks like the patch is here to stay.

First I've heard of the T-band give-back being repealed! Is there a link to a story about this that can be shared, Jim?
Here's the thread with a news article...
