Hi, in hypothetical situation, when audio recordings will take almost all place on sdcard, what will happen next?
Like, old ones will be overwritten or everything freezes, etc.

Is there a way to erase them without switching to FTP mode with `GFM,UNIDEN`?

Best way to do it is to go in mass storage mode and navigate to the recordings folder and highlight a bunch and delete them. You could do it from the scanner itself, but you have to do the one by one that way.

Since the SD card, for the SDS200, is easily accessible, it would be quicker to turn the scanner off, then pull the card and use an external card reader to access the recordings. You can use File Explorer to select & delete any that you no longer need. You also could copy them to your PC for further review, but delete them from the card before you put the card back in the scanner.

If I remember it correctly it will display "SD card full" and freeze until you push any button and it will freeze again at it next try to record. So you will have to disable the record function to be able to scan without interruptions.

If you go into the menu you can go to "review recordings" and delete them there one by one.

Close. It will display "SD Card Full" and when you see that and accept that it will disable recording. If you try to re-enable recording it will repeat. The easiest way to delete recordings is via PC using Mass Storage. But 'freeze' is not a description I would use. It will not lock up.
