What would be a good antennae for runnng a base cb?

I am lookin to set up a base cb unit and was wondering what would be a good antennae to run with it?

Kind of defeats the purpose of a public forum, doesn't it?


The Antron A99 is a simple and effective base antenna, but can be a bleed stick if you know what I mean.

I like the Maco V5000. Real good basic antenna, but is rather large for a tight neighborhood.

Back in the day i had the A99 with a ground plane kit. Worked great for me, never had any problems with it.

I used to have a starduster ground plane and it worked great, it does take up a little room though but not as much as a set of beams.
